This is the man that didn’t believe somebody that was deaf was seriously affected in her academic studies, who has miscounted the amount of students in his college, who has been actively detrimental to student progress in his college, etc. I could list more.
Freshmen who have an abundance of resources don’t know any better.
There seems to be some kind of divide between under and upperclassmen on this. I’ve heard disaster stories from upperclassmen, but as a freshman, I like him.
As a freshman, I think that he is a disingenuous person, and I hate having to ask him for something. He’s not a helpful person, and sometimes can be insulting without trying.
He refused to give me a Dean’s Excuse because I didn’t “look sick” even though I had been puking all morning, couldn’t stop, couldn’t keep anything down.
I am a dean at an Ivy League University (harvard, house that cares about bells). Please understand that you do not know the stress and responsibility and other very heavy shit that goes into being a dean. it is as if the whole weight of 400 students is on your shoulders. thats like 68,000 pounds. a LOT….. so give the guy some space. he is just doing his mother fucking job, like the rest of us……

Um, he’s not doing his job. He’s getting fired. As in, the BR master and the dean of Yale College also agree that he sucks, not just the students.
