The way I got through it was just to recall how miserable my past relationships were at Yale, and how much more time I have to myself (and how slightly less stressed I am), now that I am single, and my thoughts aren't distracted by whether or not he'll call today or whether I have to shave tonight because he's coming over, etc. Relationships are ultimately a hassle when it comes to our busy college lives (unless you have none, which might explain why people are still pining for a bf or gf), but when the time's ready, the right one will come along.
